如何挑選正確的電纜束帶? 它們的應用及用途為何?


電纜紮帶有許多種類的類型，絕對不是只有一般的尼龍6,6束帶。

大多數電纜紮帶由美國杜邦公司於 1937 年發明的 Nylon® 製成。Nylon® 是全球使用最廣泛的合成熱塑性塑料之一，具有高強度、高尺寸穩定性和高耐磨性。

在第二次世界大戰1939-1945年間，因為航空燃氣渦輪發動機的發明，加速了噴氣式飛機的應用及產量呈指數增長，由於噴機式飛機有不同的接線要求，以及在戰爭期間對於飛機需要快速且大量的維修，電纜紮帶的設計應該是在這段時間被發明的。為了在短時間內修復這些飛機，和綑綁飛機的大量且冗長的電線，類似捲髮器概念的自鎖式束帶被用在緊固和綑綁電纜電線，並縮短了整理線纜的時間，和防止工人裝配線路時因大量的綑綁導致的手部長繭或受傷。

在1955年Kurt Robel在法國提交了尼龍紮帶的專利文件(FR1126581A)，1958年Maurus C Logan發表的專利文件也描述了這個概念(US3022557A)。

1955年越南戰爭開始，除了軍用飛機，愈來愈多的民用客機的加入，以及即時空軍基地(portable instant airbases)，飛機的預先接線因應現場快速的即時組裝需求。冷戰期間除了飛機，太空競賽，導彈、衛星和航天器的製造，甚至是電腦，使用了更加複雜且廣泛的佈線，電纜的安裝和管理也變得更加重要且普遍。

最普遍的莫過於尼龍6,6材質的束帶，它們就像是一種全能型的產品，它們有不同的長度、寬度、拉力、機械結構設計及顏色等。在生活中透過紮帶將電線和電纜綑綁在一起，能保持它們的有序性，並防止電線或管路損壞，導致電線走火的風險。

而不同材質的束帶，有不同的特性，在不同的產業中發揮不同的用途。像是在極端寒冷氣候、極端嚴峻氣候、極端化學物質環境、沙漠和特殊的產業，一般的尼龍6,6在這些特殊環境可能會因為無法適應溫度的變化、化學的特性等，而發生斷裂或疲乏。舉例來說，如果需要抗紫外線的束帶解決方案，你可以選擇尼龍6,6耐候型材質的束帶，或者選擇尼龍12材質的束帶，這將可以更好的在戶外環境使用，甚至是用於沙漠及太陽能案場的應用。另外，帶有金屬成分的紮帶專為食品和製藥行業設計，以支持質量保證，例如 HACCP。金屬顏料可通過標准設備檢測，有助於降低污染風險。為了便於目視檢測，這些電纜紮帶通常為藍色。
