What is ship certification?

Certification application:

• Product Testing: Entrust an authorized third-party laboratory to conduct testing, and the testing method will refer to the "UL/IEC Certification Case Evaluation Method". During the test, the engineer of the certification organization will monitor the whole process to ensure that the method meets the standard requirements.
• Factory Audit: The manufacturing plant and the headquarters are subject to audit. The content of factory audits is related to incoming materials, manufacturing, quality control, and shipments; the headquarters audit non-production-related processes.

The certification organization will issue the certificate and conduct regular audits and inspections when passing the certification.

More than 90% of the world's ships carrying cargo are carried by ships designed, built and certified by the association to meet the safety standards and maritime regulations set by the association. In January 2011, its members have included the world's twelve largest marine classification societies.
