Tefzel® ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) resins are melt-processable copolymers with excellent physical toughness, radiation resistance, chemical resistance, UV resistance, and resistance to extreme temperature changes. Tefzel® is FDA Compliant and the name applied by DuPont™. This wide variety of fabrication possibilities combines with the following important properties to offer a unique balance of capabilities.
There are four main items widely use in different area.
- Tefzel® PTFE: iron polytetrafluoroethylene, it is a non-stick coating that can be used continuously at 260°C, with a service temperature of 290-300°C, extremely low friction coefficient, good wear resistance and very good Chemical stability.
- Tefzel® FEP: Lead-containing propylene solution, which is a non-sticky agent that flows when absorbed to form a non-porous film. It has excellent chemical stability and excellent instability. The characteristic service temperature is 200°C.
- Tefzel® PFA: There are fluorine and FEP, it is a non-sticky coating that flows in a short time and is formed as a non-porous film. Bulletproof rigidity, especially suitable for anti-sticking and chemical resistance applications under high temperature conditions.
- Tefzel® ETFE: is a polymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene. This resin is the toughest fluoropolymer. It can form a more advanced coating with excellent chemical resistance. The coating is Continuous work at 150°C.

What do Tefzel® ETFE resins do?
The convenience of Tefzel® ETFE fluoropolymer in easy-to-use resins facilitates the design and fabrication of this low friction thermoplastic for all sorts of high performance jobs. ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) commonly referred to as Tefzel® is a modified copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene. It has medium stiffness, which makes it suitable for applications such as chemical tank linings that require weldability and the ability to conform to curved metal or FRP surfaces. ETFE is often used in applications that demand mechanical toughness, moderate stiffness, and outstanding chemical resistance.

What kind of area does Tefzel® ETFE involve in?
